AdditionalInformation: A decade ago, an effort led by the Chatham County Council on Aging and supported by Central Carolina Community College and numerous County residents, developed the T.H.A.N.K.S. Trail – Trail for Health, Art and Nature for Kids and Seniors. The one mile walking trail intersects the Eastern Chatham Senior Center in Pittsboro with the Pittsboro campus of Central Carolina Community College.
